a perfect fall treat
Homemade cinnamon-sugar pear/apple slices. YUM.
Thinly slice one pear and one apple. I prefer granny smith apples, but, to each their own.
Layer on baking dish. I prefer using stoneware because the baked product doesn’t stick to the bottom.
Melt 1/2 tablespoon butter, brush over the sliced fruit.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to your heart’s content.
Bake at about 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes, or until they reach desired tenderness.
SOOOOOO good…. and warm in the tummy! 🙂
The longer they bake, the softer they become, which works well if you’re mashing them up for smaller children (apple-pear sauce) or babies.
Eat and enjoy! I know I will in approximately 20 minutes. 😀
