Writing.

It’s something that has been a part of my life for a long time.  I have kept journals and notebooks for as long as I can remember!  I love expressing my thoughts; the good, the bad, the ugly.  I love looking back at past journals and seeing how much has changed… how much I’VE changed.

I have a group of ladies I’m a part of that has been working to encourage each other with our writing.  Specifically, what motivates us, what inspires us, what keeps us writing and what keeps us from writing.  I don’t at all consider myself to be “A Writer”, but I do have to agree that working through my thoughts with words is how I roll, so hearing these other ladies share their thoughts has been an encouragement to me.

One of the ladies updated her blog this week, and it inspired me to make a few changes myself.  A little cleaner.  A little less cluttered.  A little lighter and brighter.  Will the changes inspire more writing?  Who knows.  The reality is that the four littles that call me Mama are still running amok even if this space is lighter and brighter!

I feel like this little corner of the internet that I call my own is becoming a place that’s not just for me, and while that’s a little intimidating, it’s also really exciting.

So, here it is.  The new look.

  1. We have the same fondness for butterflies! 🙂

  2. Ha! Too funny. 🙂 Our daughter has EB, a skin condition, and they are often called Butterfly Children because they are so delicate. I was never much a butterfly person until she walked into our lives a few months ago! 🙂

  3. I think it looks great. I hope it makes you feel the way you feel after some spring cleaning at home and inspires you to write more, be honest more, be vulnerable more, simply think more. I’m right there with you.

  4. Thanks, Kelly! I’m enjoying it, and excited about a few ideas swirling around in my mind. Now to find/make time to make those ideas a reality! 😉

  5. Love the new look–the clean, crispness of it–and hope that it encourages you to write more, be honest more, be vulnerable more, and simply think more. I’m right there with you.
